A private lake front camp on quiet Lake Abanakee with a grassy yard down to a sandy beach, docks, screened porch and a large deck is available for weekly rentals that includes canoe. Fish, hike (trails abound), swim, bike, whitewater raft, or just enjoy the Adirondack quiet in the town of Indian Lake, which is in the center of the Adirondacks.

The Blue Moose is a 875 square foot cabin with 2 bedrooms, queen size sofa bed, large bath with tub and shower, spacious kitchen/dining area with full size stove and fridge, microwave,and cabinets. There is a large screened in porch with plenty of room for dining or having fun. Furniture and electric are on the porch also. The deck at the Blue Moose is spacious and can be accessed from every door of the cabin. Porch, Living Room, and Kitchen, with windows to look out so you never feel separated from all the fun.

You will find a gas grill with outdoor seating and dining table for your enjoyment on the deck. There is a fire pit lakeside for roasting smores! The house sits on over 1/2 acre of secluded privacy on a dirt road with 175' of lake front and lots of wildlife. Perfect for families! Pets are welcome. See our Pet Policy! Easy for kids to catch panfish right off the dock, or try your luck at landing a northern pike! Nearby are golf courses, restaurants, shops, the Whitewater Capital of New York, The Adirondack Museum, Gore Mountain, WW Durant, 6 million acres of the Adirondack Park, and hundreds of mountains and lakes. You can experience the Adirondack Antiques Festival and easy day trips to Lake Placid or Lake George as well . Check our event calendar for featured events.
